Academics and Professionals: U.S. Senior Specialists invited by Spanish higher education institutions through the Fulbright Program.
Up to five grants available for visits between February 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.
| Objectives | Facilitate the collaboration between an American specialist and one or more Spanish institutions through a specific project. Please refer to the Fulbright / World Learning site for details. The program's goal is to build capacity in a variety of academic fields and to promote long-term collaborative relationships between higher education institutions in the U.S. and Spain through academic projects. |
| Deadline for submission of applications | From 01-September-2023 to 01-November-2023 These dates refer to the application period for Spanish host institutions. |

| Forms | Online application form to be completed and submitted by the host institution. Prospective must be enrolled in the Fulbright Specialist Roster: https://fulbrightspecialist.worldlearning.org/specialist-application-process. |
| Grant Duration | From 2 to 6 weeks (14 to 42 days including travel to/from Spain). |
| Grant Period | Between February 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. Specific dates to be agreed upon between the specialist, the host institution, and the U.S.-Spain Fulbright Commission. |
| Grant Benefits | The Fulbright Program covers transatlantic transportation, provides a daily honorarium, and enrollment in a limited health benefit program. The host institution provides accommodation, meals, and in-country transportation. |
| Calendarios proceso de selección | Selection of projects will be finalized by November 15, 2023. Selection results will be communicated by e-mail to all Spanish institutions that have submitted an application. |
