English Teaching Assistantships. Universidad Camilo José Cela. For Academic Year 2018-2019
6 grants for English Teaching Assistants at the undergraduate level at Universidad Camilo José Cela (UCJC). These grants are co-sponsored by the UCJC.
The undergradaute schools of UCJC are located at the Villafranca campus, about 25 km from the Madrid city center.
Objectives | Assistant teaching in undergraduate courses conducted in English. Assisting of permanent teaching staff in the classroom for up to 16 hours per week, with an additional two hours for planning & coordination meetings. Responsibilities include assistant teaching in English in undergraduate courses within the departments of Architecture, Communication, Economics and Law, Education, and Health. Additionally, TAs will work with Urban Management and Design, Digital Arts, Communication, Events Management and Protocol, and Economics and Technology students who need extra help on a one-on-one basis during tutoring hours; create and proof-read didactic materials for lessons; and give support to The Hive program, which promotes entrepreneurship. |

Requirements | United States citizenship and being a University graduate or in the last year of studies. Initiative and flexibility to serve as a teaching assistant in English and other classes. Teaching and/or tutoring experience is an advantage but not required. Candidates with dual U.S./Spanish citizenship are not eligible to apply.
