Grants for U.S. Senior Lecturers, Senior Postdoctoral Researchers, and Junior Postdoctoral Researchers

Objectives	Contribute significantly to advanced studies of mutual interest to the U.S. and Spain by teaching, preferably at graduate level; conduct research and/or collaborate with colleagues at Spanish academic and research institutions; or a combination of both. Activities may include presenting lectures, seminars and workshops as arranged by host institutions or the Spanish Fulbright Commission.

Forms	Application to be submitted through CIES: http://www.cies.org/program/core-fulbright-us-scholar-program Invitation letter required, indicating the name and position of the academic adviser with whom the scholar will collaborate, and specifying the teaching program and work load or indicating the availability of research resources. For the Flex grant, an invitation letter is required and must indicate: The availability of research resources The willingness and need to collaborate on a multi-year basis in order to achieve successful completion of project The name and position of the academic adviser with whom the scholar will collaborate.
Grant Duration	Three and a half months for Senior Researchers and Lecturers. Five to nine months for Junior Researchers.
Grant Period	Grants must begin between September 2016 and May 2017.
Grant Benefits	Senior Research & Lecturing Base stipend: 2,800 € per month Travel: $ 1,400 Dependent travel: $ 800 each, for a maximum of two legal family members who accompany grantee for at least 80% of the award period. Dependent monthy allowance: 150€ each, for a maximum of two legal family members who accompany grantee for at least 80% of the award period. Health benefits. Junior Research Base stipend: 2,000 € per month Travel: $ 1,400 Dependent travel: $ 800 each, for a maximum of two legal family members who accompany grantee for at least 80% of the award period. Dependent monthy allowance: 150€ each, for a maximum of two legal family members who accompany grantee for at least 80% of the award period. Health Benefits
Calendarios proceso de selección	Not required.
Observations	The Fulbright Commission promotes academic and professional affiliations with public and private institutions throughout the country. During the selection process, the host institution's economic contribution (direct and in-kind) and facilities offered to the visiting professor will be evaluated. These contributions add to the benefits provided by the Fulbright Program and seek to assess the commitment of the host institution.
