​Senior Specialists. Academics and Professionals: U.S. specialists invited by Spanish universities through the Commission.

Objectives ​Facilitate the collaboration between an American specialist and one or more Spanish institutions for postgraduate seminars, professional or curricular advising, or consultation about team projects. Not for research.

Requirements ​United States citizenship, Academic/professional/artist.
The host university can consult the program’s institutional requirements and must send the application to the Commission for approval of the project. If the Spanish institution’s request is a name request, the person in question must apply to CIES to be approved for their roster of candidates.

Forms ​The university’s application to the Commission must be submitted at least 3 months before the projected date of the specialist’s visit.

Grant Duration ​2 - 6 weeks
Grant Period January - July 2013
Grant Benefits ​The Fulbright Program will cover transatlantic transportation and provide a daily fee of $200 for the approved working days in Spain. The host institution will be responsible for room and board in Spain and transportation within the country if necessary.
